The society will rent out costumes from the costume closet for a rental fee of $25 as well as a damage deposit of $25. These funds will be provided in one written cheque at the time of rental and the damage deposit will be refunded when the costume is returned in good condition. Passed: January 12, 2010.
Costumes returned that are in need of cleaning or repair will lose deposit. Each dancer will be allowed to have one loss of costume accessory waived. Losses will be tracked and subsequent losses will result in loss of deposit. Dancers will receive one written notice regarding the missing item in order to provide an opportunity to locate the item. Parents and dancers will be strongly encouraged to store all costume accessories in zip lock bags. Passed: May 31st, 2010

Refunds will not be issued for the remainder of dance season once choreography has between set unless participation is barred by medical reason. Each case will be reviewed individually. Passed February 15th 2009.
Class Cancellation Policy
Dance classes for the day will be cancelled if there is division wide school bus cancellation on that day. The reasoning is, if it is not safe for the buses to be on the road, we do not want our dancers and intructors on the road.
